As a group we have years of expertise in these areas:
educational and project design;
ecology and sustainability;
Irish language expertise;
project management;

We are a registered Charity with the Charity Regulator, RCN is 20206780.
We are a constituted voluntary group, hold an AGM and frequent meetings throughout the year. Any resident of Cape is very welcome to join at whatever level of input they feel able.

We are grateful to have funding from Cork County Council, Tidy Islands competition and local fundraising to help bring our projects to completion.

We are registered with The Wheel, Cork County Council Public Participation Network (PPN) and Community Foundation of Ireland. We can access training and advice with these support groups.

We are registered with Revenue as a voluntary group.

Trá Chiaráin / North Harbour

Aim 1
Support island based promoters through supportive discussion or facilitation, information sharing and website. Erect and maintain information maps and signage;

Aim 2
Initiate environmental projects to improve our community, make waste disposal more efficient and sustainable, plan & facilitate educational sessions and surveys around biodiversity and sustainability awareness raising.

Inbhéar / South Harbour

Aim 3
Organise cultural events to provide deeper understanding of our area and experiences eg Imbolc Festival, Pat Con Photo Collection, History Talks and Geansaí Chléire.

An Ghaeltacht

Aim 4
Support ongoing activities to keep our surroundings clean through Tidy Islands efforts & annual application. Sponsorship of dog waste bins
